Learn CPRATL develops Red Cross instructors and backs them while they build a training business of their own. You teach. We hold the provider license, process every certification, and keep the records audit-ready.
Who this is for
Instructors who want to host their own CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS classes and get paid for them, without becoming a Licensed Training Provider themselves. Safety leads, nurses, coaches, ministry leaders, HR and operations managers, and career trainers all fit. You bring the audience and the venue. We bring the license and the administration.
How it works
1. Get certified as an instructor
If you are not already a Red Cross instructor, take our instructor course. If you are, you can apply today.
2. Apply
Tell us about your background, your audience, and where you plan to teach.
3. Set up your business with us
A 1-hour support session covers your instructor agreement, your registration page, your pricing model, and your first class plan.
4. Shadow, then host
Shadow a live class with us, then schedule your first class. We process the certifications behind you.
Two ways to join
Affiliate Instructor
The standard path. You host and teach your own classes under the Learn CPRATL provider license. Students register with you, you set your price, and you purchase each certification from us at the affiliate rate. No upfront fee to join.
Associate Instructor
For instructors who operate their own LLC and want their company name on the certificates they issue. Your business is set up as its own organization under our license, you are listed as the instructor, and we stay on as administrator so processing and records run the same way. Associate terms are set in a conversation, not on this page.
What we handle for you
- Certification processing and submission for every class you teach
- Audit-ready records under a provider license that is already in place
- Up to two 1-hour instructor support sessions per month
- A class profitability model so you know before you post whether a class is worth running
- Pre-class email templates and registration setup on CPREnroll
- Occasional paid coverage of partner classes when you want extra teaching hours
What you are responsible for
- A current Red Cross instructor certification in the courses you plan to teach
- Professional liability insurance in your own name
- A signed instructor agreement and code of conduct
- Your venue, your students, and your class calendar
- Certification fees, a CPREnroll registration account, and the class posting fee set by Red Cross
- Training equipment, or equipment rental from us

Learn CPRATL is an American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider and Instructor Trainer, and an HSI Training Center and Instructor Trainer. We deliver American Heart Association courses as an aligned instructor through a partner training center. Led by Tricia Perkins, MBA, SHRM-SCP.
